"It's All About Joy"  Study
Jackie Kelm conducted a study which showed that people can increase their happiness significantly by doing 3
simple exercises, and the effects can last for at least 6 months. The study consisted of  30 participants from 10
different states plus Canada who each did the following for 4 weeks:
            
1. Listed 3 different things they were grateful for each day
2. Answered one question daily
3. Did a 15 minute positive visioning exercise each week

Most of the participants were interviewed following the study, and the insights and revelations they had were
remarkable. Here is a summary list of what participants experienced:

1. People Began to Notice & Experience More Good in Their Lives
2. Many Got Clearer About What They Really Wanted
3. People Learned What Brought Them Joy, and/or How to Increase Joy
4. The Exercises Raised Personal Awareness & Created a Variety of Meaningful Insights
5. Many Came to Understand They Were Responsible for Creating Their Own Happiness
6. The Exercises Were Used as Tools in Dealing with Difficulties
7. The Morning Exercises Were Instrumental in Setting Up a Good Day
8. Rituals Were Helpful in Keeping Up with the Exercises
